Sew Much Hope
Sew Much Hope, Hope International’s first, on-site vocational training program, was established in 2019. Awarded funds were used to set up a classroom equipped with sewing machines and supplies, as well as hire instructors.
This vocational program has created opportunities for students to utilize their newly acquired sewing/tailoring skills to begin their own businesses or gain formal employment. Generating income for themselves and their families.
We would like to introduce you to four Sew Much Hope graduates who came together to open their own tailoring shop.
Sew Much Hope Tailoring Shop
Please meet Romell, Grace, Caroline, and Comfort, graduates of Sew Much Hope. Through the support of sewing instructors combined with their tenacious spirits, talent, and drive, they opened their own sewing cooperative in a shared space they named, Sew Much Hope Tailoring. In a full-circle way, these four young women made Hope International’s Class of 2025 and Class of 2026 school uniforms.
Set Your Table with Hope
These four women also used their talents to lovingly create and sew, on their foot-powered machines, 100s of napkins that are packaged up in sets and ready for sale to be shared with you!
Each set contains 4 napkins, measuring 15”x15”, in varying designs. The cost is $30 per set (price includes shipping) and all proceeds from sales will benefit the Sew Much Hope program, training up Liberia’s next tailors and designers.

Quilt of Hope
Each year, we hold a drawing for a chance to receive our one-of-a-kind Quilt of Hope, made from West African inspired fabrics and lovingly sewn by Hope Project partners who donate their time and talents. The funds raised help sustain our three, on-site vocational programs.
Congratulations to Leslie Heron for winning the fourth Quilt of Hope! Get ready for Hope’s fifth Quilt of Hope drawing coming March 2026!
