Shared Workspace Liberian Style

Friends of Hope,

One of the unforeseen benefits of our growing campus is the resource it has created for the educational community in Liberia.

We’ve shared with you about the country-wide mandated testing by the West African Examination Council that our students complete as a requirement for graduation. This year, the council asked permission for 4 other schools who did not have adequate space for testing to use the campus of Hope International.

Through the generosity of so many of you supporting the rebuilding of the school’s campus, staff of Hope International were able to welcome fellow students to utilize the space for their testing needs.

This campus, this ever-expanding labor of love, serves as a physical reminder of all that is possible together.

Together, we are The Hope Project.

Celebrating with Kindness

Dear Friends of Hope,

You may remember we shared with you the amazing goal from Kindness Cole, Hope International 9th grader.

While playing for Hope International in the inter high school league he was spotted by the coach for Liberia’s National U17 Football Team. He was invited to try out and was selected to join the national team.

Today, he safely landed in Austria to begin training. An opportunity made possible by the national team. What an amazing chance for Kindness and a great source of pride for Hope International.

Kindness for the Win!

Moving Forward

Friends of Hope,

We wanted to give you a final update as to where we stand with (un)Event 2022.  Though the event happened officially on April 30th, some gathered during May and June (and there are a couple known gatherings happening in July), and as of today $23,192 has been raised.

While we did not reach our goal of $30,000, we will regroup and move forward, in search of ways to close the budget gap. Just like for many of you, we will rely on creativity, grit, and resilience and trust that all will be well.

We are deeply grateful for the celebrations and the giving and the faces of all of you gathered at this Table of Hope.
