Mask Up.

You are masking up Liberia! Your generosity has not only provided masks for Hope International students but the communities surrounding our school. Pictured are some of our senior students and principal Joseph Cumming distributing masks that were made onsite at Hope International’s sewing lab, with funds that you generously gave.

Your gifts have a life-saving impact. Thank you for your continued partnership in HOPE.

Update: Seniors Back on Campus

On Monday, June 29th, the senior class returned to Hope International. The Ministry of Education has required high school seniors to return to classes where they will prepare for the West African Senior Certificate Exams in August. Passing this exam is a requirement to receive a high school diploma in Liberia.

Much like the United States, Liberia is experiencing a spike in COVID-19. Therefore, the classroom looks a little different for students and teachers. Temperature checks, hand washing stations, social distance, and masks are now part of their daily routine. Read more on how you can help our hope-chasers to fulfill their dreams of education while staying healthy.

Pause For Hope.

Dear Friends of Hope

Maybe you’ve noticed we haven’t been talking much. There are so many important words and messages being shared in our country right now. We are listening. We are learning. We are acting.

On social media, we have been sharing photos of the staff, students, and community members that are the creators and bearers of hope in Liberia. Make no mistake, it is those pictured here that put the Hope in The Hope Project. We are the invited guests that have the honor of supporting Liberia’s vision and future.

We will be adding some words in the coming week, but for now, please join us as we continue to work for justice and representation in this country, in Liberia, and in the world.
